Old Moldy Apartment

I took pics of one of our old Apartment's mold that while disgusting I want to share, I have a feeling lots of apartments are like this and everyone should know that they shouldn't subject themselves to this stuff which can make you sick. My wife is fairly fastidious with cleaning but you can't beat this stuff it grows so fast. We had made a filter of sorts to go over the vent to try and help. These picks were taken at Sterling Tower, 170 E. Griffith St., Jackson, MS and the management claims it is/was "algae" despite the fact the bottom 3 pics were in the back of a closet which means no sun, no sun means no photosynthesis, which means no algae
